Summary

CVE-2023-20195 is a vulnerability that affects Cisco ISE. It allows an authenticated, remote attacker with valid Administrator credentials to upload arbitrary files to the affected device through improper validation of files uploaded to the web-based management interface. By exploiting this vulnerability, the attacker can store malicious files in specific directories on the device, which can be later used for additional attacks, including executing arbitrary code on the affected device with root privileges. The vulnerability has a high severity rating and poses a potential danger to organizations as it could lead to unauthorized access and compromise of sensitive data.
