Summary

CVE-2023-20181 is a vulnerability that affects the web-based management interface of Cisco Small Business SPA500 Series IP Phones. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct XSS attacks by exploiting insufficient validation of user-supplied input. The attacker can execute arbitrary script code or access sensitive browser-based information by convincing a user to click on a crafted link. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of MEDIUM and a base score of 6.1 according to NIST's analysis.
