Summary
CVE-2023-20084 is a timing issue vulnerability in the endpoint software of Cisco Secure Endpoint for Windows. This flaw allows authenticated, local attackers to evade endpoint protection for a limited time. By persuading a user to place a malicious file in a specific folder and execute it within a particular window, an attacker could cause the software to fail to quarantine or terminate the malicious file's process. The vulnerability is relevant only to deployments with the Windows Folder Redirection feature enabled.
