Summary
CVE-2023-1844 is a vulnerability affecting the Subscribe2 plugin in WordPress. This issue allows author-level attackers to gain unauthorized access to the plugin's email functionality. Specifically, in versions up to 10.40, a missing capability check allows attackers to send test emails with arbitrary content and attachments to site users.
