Summary
CVE-2023-1329 is a newly identified vulnerability that poses a threat to certain HP multifunction printers (MFPs). This issue could potentially enable a Buffer Overflow and Remote Code Execution when HP Workpath solutions are implemented on susceptible devices. Malicious actors could exploit this vulnerability to execute malicious code and gain unauthorized access to affected systems, compromising sensitive information. HP is currently working on a patch to address this vulnerability and users are advised to apply it as soon as it becomes available to mitigate potential risks.
