Summary

CVE-2023-1183 is a vulnerability found in the Libreoffice package. It allows an attacker to create a specially crafted odb file containing a "database/script" file with a SCRIPT command that can write the file contents to a new location determined by the attacker. This vulnerability affects multiple products, including versions of ihvOm8, ihvOm5, ajYLcG, and many more. The danger lies in the potential for an attacker to execute arbitrary scripts and potentially gain unauthorized access or perform malicious actions on the affected system. To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to update to the latest version of Libreoffice that includes a fix for this issue.
