Summary
CVE-2023-1150 is a vulnerability affecting Series WAGO 750-3x/-8x products. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted packets to trigger uncontrolled resource consumption, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) attack against the MODBUS server. The server becomes unresponsive, potentially disrupting industrial automation processes. This vulnerability poses a significant risk for organizations relying on these WAGO products for their critical operations.
