Summary
CVE-2022-46898 is a path traversal vulnerability affecting Vocera Report Server and Voice Server 5.x through 5.8. The vulnerability resides in the "restore SQL data" functionality of the Vocera Report Console's websocket. A maliciously crafted filename can bypass the intended restoration directory, enabling an attacker to provide a ZIP archive containing SQL import files with path-traversal payloads. This could potentially lead to the execution of SQL commands against the vulnerable database.
