Details
Summary
CVE-2021-4403 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Remove Schema plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.5 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause is a missing or incorrect nonce validation on the plugin's validate() function, which allows unauthenticated attackers to modify the plugin's settings. They can accomplish this by tricking a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a malicious link. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it enables attackers to change the plugin's configurations without proper authorization.
