Summary

CVE-2021-4401 is a vulnerability in the Style Kits plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.8.0. The vulnerability arises from missing or incorrect nonce validation on the update_posts_stylekit() function, enabling unauthenticated attackers to update style kits for posts through forged requests if they can trick a site administrator into taking action, such as clicking on a link. The vulnerability has a high severity rating and poses a potential danger to organizations, with a high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The affected products include various versions of rubXOn, rubXOm, rubXOl, and others.
