Summary

The Rucy plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 0.4.4, is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CVE-2021-4396). This vulnerability is caused by missing or incorrect nonce validation on the save_rc_post_meta() function. It allows unauthenticated attackers to save post meta by tricking a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link. The affected products are 't4L0fl' and 't4L0fm'. The potential danger posed to an organization includes unauthorized modification of post metadata and potential manipulation of website content. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update the Rucy plugin to the latest version.
