Summary

CVE-2021-4387 affects the Opal Estate plugin for WordPress, which is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. This issue arises due to lax or absent nonce validation in the opalestate_set_feature_property() and opalestate_remove_feature_property() functions. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by tricking site administrators into executing a malicious request, enabling them to set and remove featured properties unrestrictedly. Successful exploitation could lead to unintended changes to the website's property settings. Users of the Opal Estate plugin are recommended to update to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
