Summary
CVE-2020-36758 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the RSS Aggregator plugin by Feedzy for WordPress. Versions up to and including 3.4.2 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause is the absence or incorrect implementation of nonce validation within the save_feedzy_post_type_meta() function, enabling unauthenticated attackers to manipulate post meta information. Successful exploitation requires an administrator to perform a specific action, such as clicking on a malicious link, allowing the attacker to execute their malicious request.
