Summary

CVE-2020-36752 is a vulnerability found in the Coming Soon & Maintenance Mode Page plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.57. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to perform Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks by tricking site administrators into clicking on a malicious link. The issue arises due to the missing or incorrect nonce validation in the save_meta_box() function of the plugin. The affected products include various versions of sCvi WordPress plugins. Organizations using these vulnerable plugins should update to the latest version or consider alternative security measures to mitigate the risk posed by this vulnerability.
