Summary

The vulnerability with CVE ID CVE-2020-36747 affects the Lightweight Sidebar Manager plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.1.4. It is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability caused by missing or incorrect nonce validation on the metabox_save() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to save metbox data through a forged request if they can manipulate a site administrator into taking an action, such as clicking on a link.
