Summary

CVE-2020-36735 is a vulnerability in the WP ERP | Complete HR solution with recruitment & job listings | WooCommerce CRM & Accounting plugin for WordPress. The versions up to and including 1.6.3 are affected. This vulnerability arises from missing or incorrect nonce validation on several functions within the plugin, including handle_leave_calendar_filter, add_enable_disable_option_save, leave_policies, process_bulk_action, and process_crm_contact. It allows unauthenticated attackers to modify the plugin's settings through a forged request if they can deceive a site administrator into taking an action such as clicking on a link. The risk score for this vulnerability is 10 out of 10, indicating its severe potential danger to organizations using the vulnerable plugin. To remediate this issue, users should update their WP ERP plugin to a version beyond 1.6.3.
