Summary

CVE-2025-43962 is a vulnerability affecting LibRaw, a popular open-source library used for reading and decoding various image file formats. This issue lies in the 'phase_one_correct' function of 'decoders/load_mfbacks.cpp'. The issue results in out-of-bounds reads when processing image tags with a value of 0x412. This vulnerability can be triggered by large w0 or w1 values or inaccurate frac and mult calculations.
