Summary

CVE-2025-3761 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting the My Tickets – Accessible Event Ticketing plugin for WordPress. The issue lies within the mt_save_profile() function, which fails to adequately restrict access to unauthorized users, allowing them to update their roles. As a result, attackers with Subscriber-level access and above can exploit this vulnerability to elevate their privileges to that of an administrator. This poses a significant risk to WordPress websites running the affected plugin versions (up to and including 2.0.16).
