Summary
CVE-2025-3643 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting the popular learning management system, Moodle. This issue stems from insufficient sanitization of the return URL in the policy tool. An attacker could exploit this Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability by injecting malicious code into the URL, which could then be reflected back to unsuspecting users. Successful exploitation would allow the attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the user's browser, potentially leading to session hijacking or data theft.
