Summary
CVE-2025-3573 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions of the jquery-validation package prior to 1.20.0. The issue lies within the showLabel() function, which accepts user-controlled placeholder values. Malicious input can manipulate $.validator.messages, a user localizable dictionary, resulting in the injection of malicious scripts and potentially harmful actions. This vulnerability poses a serious risk to applications utilizing the affected jquery-validation package and could lead to unintended execution of malicious code.
