Summary
CVE-2025-3458 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Ocean Extra plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions 2.4.6 and below, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The 'ocean_gallery_id’ parameter is the point of entry, where insufficient input sanitization and output escaping have been identified. Exploitation of this vulnerability requires the Classic Editor plugin to be installed and activated. Successful attacks can result in the execution of malicious scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
