Summary

CVE-2025-3056 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Download Manager plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.3.12, allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher to inject malicious SVG files. Upon upload, these files are not properly sanitized or escaped, and as a result, the embedded scripts are stored and executed whenever a user accesses the infected SVG file. This could lead to the unintended execution of malicious code, potentially resulting in data theft or unauthorized access.
