Summary
CVE-2025-30117 is a vulnerability affecting the Forvia Hella HELLA Driving Recorder DR 820. Unauthorized parties can bypass device pairing and access the settings interface to obtain sensitive user and vehicle information. Moreover, they can manipulate power management settings, disable recording, erase stored footage, and shut off battery protection. These actions may result in denial-of-service conditions and vehicle battery drainage.
