Summary
CVE-2025-30114 is a vulnerability affecting the Forvia Hella HELLA Driving Recorder DR 820. The issue lies in the device pairing mechanism, which exclusively relies on the connecting device's MAC address for authentication. An attacker can exploit this weakness by obtaining a target's MAC address through network scanning and spoofing it to bypass the authentication process, ultimately gaining unauthorized access to the dashcam's features. This vulnerability poses a significant security risk, as it allows attackers to control the device without proper authorization.
