Summary
CVE-2025-29493 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting libming v0.4.8. A segmentation fault in the decompileGETPROPERTY function can be exploited, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. Attackers can trigger this vulnerability by delivering a maliciously crafted SWF file. The segmentation fault causes memory corruption, leading to unintended program behavior and ultimately, a crash. This issue poses a significant risk, particularly to systems using libming for SWF file processing.
