Summary
CVE-2025-29462 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Tenda Ac15 routers running firmware V15.13.07.13. This issue arises when the webCgiGetUploadFile function in the router's software processes HTTP request messages using the socketRead function. As a result, a buffer on the stack is overwritten, leading to potential stack-based attacks and arbitrary code execution. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to the router or disrupt its functionality. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to affected devices and requires immediate attention from users and vendors alike.
