Summary
CVE-2025-2763 is a critical vulnerability affecting CarlinKit CPC200-CCPA devices. This issue permits physically present attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations without requiring authentication. The root cause is an improper verification of cryptographic signatures during the handling of update packages on USB drives. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability, identified as ZDI-CAN-24356, to execute code with root privileges.
