Summary
CVE-2025-27580 is a vulnerability affecting the NIH BRICS (Biomedical Research Informatics Computing System) before version 14.0.0-67. This issue allows unauthenticated users with a Common Access Card (CAC) to generate predictable tokens by using a combination of the username, time, and a fixed string. By exploiting this vulnerability, unauthorized users can escalate privileges and potentially compromise administrator accounts.
