Summary
CVE-2025-26803 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Phusion Passenger versions 6.0.21 through 6.0.25 before 6.0.26. The issue lies in the http parser, which can be exploited by sending an invalid HTTP method during a request. This results in the parser entering an infinite loop, causing a denial-of-service condition. System resources are consumed, resulting in the application becoming unresponsive or crashing. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability to cause disruptions or downtime for affected systems. Users are advised to update Phusion Passenger to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
