Summary
CVE-2025-2542 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Your Simple SVG Support plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.0.1, allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher to upload SVG files containing malicious scripts. The input isn't properly sanitized, and output escaping is insufficient, resulting in the execution of these scripts whenever a user accesses the infected SVG file. This can lead to unintended website functionality or data theft.
