Summary
CVE-2025-2525 is a vulnerability affecting the Streamit theme for WordPress. This issue stems from insufficient file type validation in the 'st_Authentication_Controller::edit_profile' function, which is present in all versions up to 4.0.1. As a result, authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions or higher can exploit this vulnerability to upload arbitrary files on the compromised site's server. The potential consequences of this flaw could lead to remote code execution.
