Summary

CVE-2025-25140 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability identified in Scriptonite Simple User Profile. This weakness allows attackers to conduct Stored XSS (Cross-Site Scripting) attacks on users of Simple User Profile versions 1.0 through 1.9. The CSRF vulnerability enables an attacker to craft malicious requests, which, when executed by an unsuspecting user, can inject malicious scripts into the victim's web browser. These scripts can then be used to steal sensitive information or take control of the user's account. System administrators are advised to update their Simple User Profile installations to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
