Summary

CVE-2025-24947 is a hash collision vulnerability affecting LSQUIC (LS Quic), specifically in its hash table used for managing connections. This issue allows remote attackers to initiate a Denial of Service (DoS) attack by exploiting the XXH32 algorithm used in LSQUIC. By creating colliding Source Connection IDs (SCIDs), attackers can cause significant CPU load on the server, resulting in a denial of service condition. The vulnerability exists in LSQUIC versions prior to 4.2.0.
