Summary
CVE-2025-23602 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the NotFound EELV Newsletter. The issue stems from improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts into the newsletter, potentially stealing sensitive user data or gaining unauthorized access to user accounts. This vulnerability affects all versions of the EELV Newsletter from n/a through 4.8.2. Users are advised to upgrade to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
