Summary
CVE-2025-23508 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Extra Options – Favicons component from versions n/a through 1.1.0. An attacker can exploit this issue to conduct a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack, injecting malicious scripts into users' web browsers. The attacker can use this to steal sensitive information or take unauthorized actions on behalf of the victim. Users are advised to update to the latest version of Extra Options – Favicons to mitigate this risk.
