Summary
CVE-2025-23449 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the NotFound Simple shortcode buttons. The issue stems from improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into the input, enabling Reflected XSS attacks. NotFound Simple shortcode buttons with versions from n/a through 1.3.2 are susceptible to this issue. Users are advised to update to a secure version as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
