Summary

CVE-2025-2325 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WP Test Email plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.1.8 are impacted. The issue stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin's email logs. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This poses a significant risk for websites using the vulnerable plugin, potentially leading to data theft or unauthorized actions. It is strongly advised to update the plugin to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this threat.
