Summary

CVE-2025-2302 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Advanced Woo Search plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.28, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the aws_search_terms shortcode. Successful exploitation results in the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever an injected page is accessed.
