Summary
CVE-2025-22870 is a vulnerability affecting proxy configurations. It allows IPv6 zone IDs to be mistakenly identified as hostname components. For instance, if the NO_PROXY environment variable is set to "*.example.com", a request to "[::1%25.example.com]:80" will erroneously match and bypass proxy filtering, potentially exposing the system to unintended external access. This issue can lead to security risks and unintended routing of network traffic.
