Summary
CVE-2025-2287 is a local code execution vulnerability affecting Rockwell Automation's Arena® software. The issue arises due to an uninitialized pointer caused by insufficient validation of user-supplied data. An attacker who successfully exploits this flaw can disclose sensitive information and execute arbitrary code on the targeted system. This vulnerability can be triggered when a legitimate user opens a malicious Design Interface Exchange (DOE) file.
