Summary
CVE-2025-2249 is a vulnerability affecting the SoJ SoundSlides plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the function soj_soundslides_options_subpanel(), which fails to validate file types during arbitrary file uploads. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to upload malicious files on targeted sites, potentially leading to remote code execution. All versions up to and including 1.2.2 are affected.
