Summary
CVE-2025-22355 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Kikx Simple Post Author Filter. The issue arises from improper neutralization of user inputs during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into the webpage, which can then be executed in the context of the victim's browser when they view the affected page. This weakness exists in versions 1.0 and below of the Kikx Simple Post Author Filter. Successful exploitation could lead to information disclosure or unauthorized access.
