Summary
CVE-2025-2228 is a Sensitive Information Exposure vulnerability affecting the Responsive Addons for Elementor and Elementor Templates plugins for WordPress. In versions up to 1.6.8, the 'register_user' function is vulnerable. This issue grants authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, the ability to extract sensitive information such as usernames and passwords from newly registered users. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating email notifications for successful registrations. Users are advised to update these plugins to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
