Summary
CVE-2025-22006 is a vulnerability affecting the Linux kernel's net: ethernet: ti: am65-cpsw driver. This issue can lead to a NULL pointer dereference when registering interrupts for TX or RX DMA Channels before their respective NAPI callbacks. This sequence mismatch is a random occurrence and can result from the unpredictable generation of traffic by Linux or incoming traffic from the network. Consequentially, successful exploitation may cause the system to crash or potentially allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access. The vulnerability has been resolved, and it is recommended that users apply the necessary patches to mitigate the risk.
