Summary
CVE-2025-21901 is a newly identified vulnerability in the Linux kernel. This issue involves the RDMA/bnxt_re component, whichfailed to properly check the validity of rdev during ulp_irq_stop and ulp_irq_start callbacks. If the device is in a detached state, these callbacks may still be triggered, leading to a NULL pointer dereference and potential crash due to the already freed rdev. This vulnerability has been resolved to prevent such crashes and ensure system stability.
