Summary
CVE-2025-21769 is a vulnerability affecting the Linux kernel. Specifically, in the "ptp: vmclock" subsystem, the inclusion of the ".owner" field in vmclock_miscdev_fops was found to be missing. The absence of this field allows the module to be unloaded even when /dev/vmclock0 is open, resulting in an "oops" error. This issue has since been addressed in the latest kernel updates.
