Summary
CVE-2025-21490 is a vulnerability affecting the InnoDB component of Oracle MySQL Server. Versions 8.0.40 and prior, 8.4.3 and prior, and 9.1.0 and prior are known to be vulnerable. This issue allows a high-privileged attacker, with network access, to exploit it via multiple protocols. Successful attacks can result in a denial-of-service condition, causing the MySQL Server to hang or frequently crash.
