Details
Summary
CVE-2025-21306 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting the Windows Telephony Service. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system by sending a specially crafted RTP packet to a vulnerable RTP proxy server. This could potentially lead to the compromise of the entire Windows network if the RTP proxy server is publicly accessible. Microsoft has released a patch to address this issue. It is recommended that all Windows systems running the vulnerable Telephony Service be updated as soon as possible to mitigate the risk of exploitation.
