Summary

CVE-2025-21181 is a newly identified Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ). The flaw permits an attacker to send specially crafted MSMQ packets to a targeted MSMQ server, causing it to consume excessive system resources and crash. This can lead to a DoS condition, making the server unresponsive to legitimate requests. Microsoft has released a patch to address the issue, and it is recommended that all MSMQ servers be updated as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
