Summary

CVE-2025-2105 is a vulnerability affecting the Jupiter X Core plugin for WordPress. This issue allows for PHP Object Injection via deserialization of untrusted input from the 'file' parameter of the 'raven_download_file' function. An attacker can inject a PHP Object through a PHAR file, but to exploit the vulnerability fully, a POP (Return-oriented programming) chain is required in other plugins or themes installed on the site. This vulnerability could potentially enable file deletion, data retrieval, or code execution depending on the available POP chain. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this when a form with file upload capabilities and a download action is present on the site. Otherwise, Contributor-level users and above can exploit it.
